Healing from
Healthcare Trauma
& Medical Grief

Restore and Reclaim Self-Identity.

Virtual Group | Max 10 Participants | Led by Beth & Mona

Healing is about being rather than doing.

In a world that rewards performance and productivity, high achievers learn to survive by suppressing their true selves. 3d Psychotherapy offers a deeply personalized path back to calm and authenticity.

Using neuroscience-informed psychodynamic healing, we help clients dismantle old coping patterns and build self-trust from the inside out, trading constant striving for grounded serenity and genuine fulfillment.

"Where high-achievers come back to themselves psychotherapy that helps you see yourself."

Main Goal of the Group

Hand Stone

"Restore and Reclaim

self-Identity."

The primary goal of this group is to support individuals in reclaiming a sense of safety, trust, and agency in their bodies and within healthcare experiences after medical trauma and/or while living with chronic illness.

This group integrates somatic healing and psychoeducation to help participants:

Process and release stored trauma responses in the body

Make meaning of their lived experiences

Rebuild a compassionate relationship with their body

Develop strategies for assertive communications and self-advocacy with doctors for accessing care, and for navigating healthcare systems, insurance processes, and complaint formats

At its core, this group is about offering a secure, supportive community and setting to reconstruct trust, safety, and hope, after feeling betrayed by the body and medical systems.

This group is designed to support individuals who experience

1

Persistent anxiety, fear, or PTSD related to medical settings and experiences

3

Disconnection from the body (numbness, shutdown, avoidance)

5

Grief related to ambiguous loss, health status changes, identity shifts

7

Shame, guilt, or internalized narratives about their health from medical gaslighting, dehumanization, and uncertainty

2

Feelings of loss of control, betrayal, or dismissal by healthcare providers

4

Chronic stress from managing
long-term illness

6

Difficulty advocating for themselves in medical environments

8

Burnout from feeling isolated and being in the “patient role” long-term, as well as dealing with healthcare systems that do not center patient recovery, healing, resilience, and empowerment
